Current President
Ashley N.F. Moore

Born in D.C., raised in Clarksville, and Memphian by choice. Ashley obtained her B.A. in Psychology, and minor in Women’s Studies from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Ashley earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law, where she served on numerous boards to include, Moot Court, the Association for Women Attorneys, and the Student Bar Association. She also competed on both the National Mediation and National Trial Advocacy teams.

 

Ashley currently works as an AUSA for the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Tennessee. Prior to her current role as an AUSA, Ashley worked as a trial attorney for the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and as an ADA with the Shelby County District Attorney General’s Office. Outside of work, Ashley teaches a Mock Trial course at the University of Memphis and serves as an assistant coach for the National Trial Advocacy team at UofM’s Law School. She is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc., and an executive board member on the Leo Bearman, Sr. American Inn of Court.

 

Ashley is married to Jeffrey K. Moore, Jr., the current president of the Young Lawyers Division for the Memphis Bar Association. This year they look forward to serving the Memphis legal community, alongside welcoming their first child.
